Chris Toal is a Qualified Therapeutic Masseur specializing in treating unresponsive soft tissue trauma and skeletal imbalance. In 1999 Chris became frustrated at treating quite large numbers of injuries that were easily avoided by releasing tension within soft tissues. Research told him clients would only use it if the solution was easy to use fast and effective. Chris came up with BODYWALLTM.
Pacific Health & Fitness Ltd became strategic partners in 2002 and IP protection began, prototypes were developed and Bodywall Ltd was formed. 2003 Auckland University of Technology began effectiveness evaluations to prove the Bodywall system actually worked at stretching tissue by testing for changes in Range of motion. Change in ROM would indicate load has been applied to muscles joints ligaments and tendons.
The results clearly showed they were on the right path so more investors were brought onboard and, Massey Universities Industrial Design Dept were engaged to develop ergonomic, high adhesion rapid release gloves and shoes. Patented new and amazingly strong 3M Dual Lock technology was introduced by 3M New Zealand. New wall material were located 2005.
With IP protection filed worldwide, lots more testing done, and Trade Mark protections completed Bodywall is finally ready to be shown to the world. Hundreds of people stretched their performance to bring you Bodywall. Now it’s your turn to stretch yours. |
